Safety Coordinator

Safety Coordinator – IES Electrical (Lithia Springs, GA)

• Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
• Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies
• Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
• Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings
• Conducts jobsite safety orientations
• Assists in safety training as necessary
• Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees
• Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections
• Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
• Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.

• Minimum 1 year commercial electrical experience in a related position
• HS Diploma/GED
• OSHA-30 Certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Blood Bourne Pathogens Certifications
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check
