We are seeking an Engineering Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and maintain electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Responsibilities include testing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrated control systems, electronic equipment, and instrumentation.

You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to leverage their technical experience and expertise in controls, instrumentation, networking, and software development to deliver high‑quality and high‑value solutions. This is an onsite position for Lithia Springs, GA; candidates must live within a commutable distance.

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment including motor and logic controllers, switchboards, load centers, buss transfer switches, electrical circuits, and specialized electrical systems; able to perform electrician tasks under general supervision.
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks, requiring creativity and latitude.
• Perform factory testing, installation, maintenance, calibration, and field repair of control panels and MCCs, VFDs, and I & C equipment.
• Perform factory and field functional testing of programmed control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Process calibration documentation in a timely manner.
• Modify PLC and HMI applications in the field.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant instrumentation and equipment.
• Use NIST‑traceable calibration equipment to perform precision comparisons.
• Perform diagnostic evaluation and emergency field service for MCCs, VFDs, all I & C equipment including analog, digital, pneumatic, and electrical controls.
• Generate test procedures and forms.
• Serve as an ambassador embodying our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in the field or related area; apprenticeship or formal training may be required.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic understanding of NEC code and UL508 requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform well in stressful environments.
• Availability to work weekends or holidays to fulfill customer commitments when required.
• Ability to resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and walk up and down stairs or fixed ladders multiple times.
