CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure support, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical to join their team. As a member of the Critical Environment Department, you will support maintenance and operational excellence with a focus on mechanical systems in critical environments.

    Lithia Springs, Georgia
  • Contract:

    6‑18 Month
  • Shift: 12‑Hour Day Shifts
  • Pay Range: $45 per hour
What's the Job?
  • Perform diagnostics and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and mechanical systems in critical environments.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems according to global standards.
  • Disassemble fan guards and housings for bearing inspections and infrared scans to detect early signs of failure.
  • Apply run‑to‑fail strategies where appropriate, ensuring scheduled testing and visual inspections are completed.
  • Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with pumps, motors, and fan systems in critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vibration analysis, and thermal scanning techniques.
  • Familiarity with maintenance task codes, warranty protocols, and local regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Completion of relevant technical certifications or manufacturer training preferred.
  • All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA‑approved NFPA 70E Certification.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
