Data Center Technical Operations Engineer Facility

The Data Center Technical Operations Engineer Facility will be responsible for Data Center Engineering Operations within an Amazon Data Center, including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.

• On‑site management of shift technicians, sub‑contractors, and vendors, ensuring all work complies with established practices and procedures.
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate projects with IT managers and other business leaders to manage capacity and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switch gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, and building monitoring systems.
• Assist in the design and buildout of new facilities and in projects to increase current facility efficiency.
• Manage asset and inventory information.
• Assist in recruiting efforts.
• Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical/Military/Trade School Degree with relevant experience.
• 0‑2 years of relevant work experience.
• 0‑2 years of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize in complex, fast‑paced environments.

• 0‑2 years of Data Center Engineering experience.
• 0‑2 years of Data Center Management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout, and low‑voltage copper/fiber cabling.

• Troubleshooting

Pay range: $28.26 – $28.26/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Contract to Hire position based out of Lithia Springs, GA. Fully onsite.
