Job Title: Data Center Technical Operations Engineer – Facilities (4×10 Schedule, Mon-Thurs)
Location: Lithia Springs, Georgia
Shift: 4×10 Hour Shifts | Monday-Thursday
OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Center Technical Operations Engineer – Facilities to support mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced data center environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, a hands‑on approach to maintenance, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage on-site operations, including shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical systems such as Electrical switch gear, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment;
Generators and emergency power systems; HVAC systems (chillers, cooling towers, CRACs);
Building Management Systems (BMS) and monitoring platforms. - Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to manage capacity and support project delivery.
- Contribute to facility build‑outs and infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members.
- Ensure customer service levels and uptime requirements are consistently met.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical/Military/Trade School certification in a relevant field.
- 0-2 years of relevant technical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- 0-2 years of experience in data center engineering or facilities operations.
- 0-2 years of experience in data center management or team leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure, low-voltage copper/fiber cabling, and data center layouts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
