Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure support, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical to join their team. As part of the Critical Environment Department, you will support maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive attitude that aligns with the organization.
Location: Lithia Springs, GA
Contract: 6–18 Month Contract
Shift: 12 Hour Shifts – Day
Pay Range: $45
What's the Job?- Perform diagnostics and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and mechanical systems in critical environments.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems according to global standards.
- Disassemble fan guards and housings for bearing inspections and infrared scans to detect early signs of failure.
- Apply run‑to‑fail strategies where appropriate, ensuring scheduled testing and visual inspections are completed.
- Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with pumps, motors, and fin‑fan systems in critical environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vibration analysis, and thermal scanning techniques.
- Familiarity with maintenance task codes, warranty protocols, and local regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Completion of relevant technical certifications or manufacturer training preferred.
- All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA‑approved NFPA 70E certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
