Gate Clerk

The Gate Clerk is the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a customer facility. This position may work a rotating shift.

• Process Inbound and Outbound loads.
• Checking in and maintaining security with outside careers
• Performing yard audits as needed
• Keep accurate record of all inbound and outbound trailers.
• Check seals and numbers on all inbound and outbound trails.
• Security-adjacent tasks such as gate management and perimeter reporting
• Prioritize and process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading)
• Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing.

• The ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment.
• Ability to Multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to compile and record data in an efficient and accurate manner
• Have knowledge of customer and company requirements regarding shipping and receiving

• High school Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in an administrative capacity preferred
• 2+ Years Customer Service Experience preferred.
• High Jump WMs experience is preferred but not required.
• Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.
