Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with days off Saturday & Sunday.
Production Kitchen Supervisor – Responsibilities- Create, document, and implement SOPs for Ready‑to‑Heat (RTH) production processes.
- Observe and analyze production activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the RTH project manager and cross‑functional partners to develop processes and train hourly resources.
- Receive daily production plan, delegate tasks, and ensure appropriate staffing to meet targets.
- Set up workstations according to SOPs, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and lead shift‑level safety meetings.
- Oversee ingredient cooking, cooling, and portioning; stay on track to achieve production goals and quality standards.
- Provide on‑floor coaching, feedback, and motivation to improve production pace and product quality.
- Promote and uphold employee safety, GMP compliance, and food‑safety procedures during the shift.
- Lead huddles to communicate safety topics, production plans, and process changes.
- Participate in hiring, promotion, and performance reviews for team members.
- Manage and troubleshoot kitchen equipment, technology, and tools; maintain a food‑safe culture.
- Track production progress, write end‑of‑shift reports, and facilitate shift handoffs.
- Travel: 10% required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Leadership experience in a high‑volume kitchen setting.
- Cross‑functional experience in two additional departments (warehousing, production, quality, procurement, etc.) preferred.
- Track record of driving KPIs and meeting or exceeding goals.
- Experience developing team members through both leading and managing.
- Proficient with tablets and PCs.
- Open availability to work weekend shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds occasionally.
- Capacity to stand/walk for 10–12 hours in a cold environment less than 40 degrees.
