As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access and alarm activity, support incident response, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will use technology to document activity, assist employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, coordinate the flow of vehicles and drivers, and maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
• Verify driver, visitor, and carrier credentials; manage access to designated shipping, receiving, and dispatch areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
