Overview

Arabia Mountain High School is seeking a motivated Football Community Coach who has a passion for working with high school students. The ideal candidate should have excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

• Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport of football you express interest in.
• Assist the Head Coach with game techniques and strategies to prepare for competition.
• Determine the need for individual or team improvement and accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
• Maintain inventory of athletic equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques.
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities.
• Serve as a Lay Coach in a temporary, annually renewable position.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid certificate in first aid required.

Education and/or Experience and Certificates/Licenses/Permits are the stated requirements for this role.
