About the Role

Our maintenance team, that maintains our fleet of jet aircraft, is seeking part‑time, hourly help, with administrative task related to the ordering of parts, invoicing for maintenance related services, and general administrative support. This role may include, packaging and shipping parts, inventory control and data entry in our tracking software and invoices in our accounting software.

This role requires someone to think quickly and learn new processes on the fly. Many of the task in the maintenance department are one‑off, custom task, that need to be completed quickly without hand holding. Understanding of aviation terms is a big plus.

This role reports to our Director of Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order aviation parts
    , compare pricing across vendors, and coordinate deliveries
  • Maintain and track inventory levels; update records regularly
  • Engine and flight time entry to reporting tools
  • Post and sell parts/items on eBay and track sales and returns
  • Lift boxes and handle returns to/from the mailbox or shipping carriers
  • Manage AR and AP for maintenance related parts and invoices
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry as needed for maintenance
  • Support general administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Prepare job cards with the assistance of Director of maintenance
Requirements
  • Must be available on-site 3 days per week in Lititz, PA
  • Experience with Inventory, Parts and Basic invoicing in accounting suites
  • Proficiency modern tech
    . We utilize modern SaaS application for tracking, invoicing and strong computer skills are a must
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift packages and handle inventory
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with Quick Books or aviation parts ordering
  • Experience with Aviation maintenance tracking program
