Sports Medicine Physician - Lancaster, PA

Overview

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Sports Medicine Parkesburg is searching for a Physician to join our team. Our Sports Medicine team provides complete surgical and non-surgical care for a wide range of conditions and injuries to bone, muscle, and other soft tissues, along with concussion management, nutrition counseling, and screening for cardiac issues in athletes.

This physician will spend 50% of the time in the Family Medicine clinic and 50% of the time in Sports Medicine. School coverage is included with the sports component, with most time requirements during the football season. The position is located primarily in our Parkesburg office with potential to float to other locations in the Lancaster area. Our offices are equipped with musculoskeletal ultrasound and a physical therapy department located in the same building, providing convenience for patients and providers alike.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) issued by the Accreditation Council on Medical Education.
• Successful completion of a Family Medicine Residency.
• Successful completion of a Sports Medicine Fellowship.
• Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or Board‑eligible.
• Certificate in Added Qualification in Sports Medicine or eligibility to obtain CAQ in Sports Medicine.
