Keller Bros Auto Company is seeking an experienced and results driven General Sales Manager to oversee all aspects of the sales operation. This role carries full responsibility for sales performance, lead management, team development, and profitability.
The General Sales Manager works closely with ownership and department leaders to set sales strategy, execute processes, and drive consistent results across new and used vehicle operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong decision making, accountability, and the ability to develop high performing sales teams.
ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership for the sales department, including new and used vehicle operations
Set sales strategy, performance targets, and process standards
Recruit, train, coach, and develop Sales Managers and sales consultants
Drive lead management processes and improve conversion across all channels
Oversee inventory acquisition, pricing strategy, and aging control
Review and approve deals, structure transactions, and manage gross performance
Partner with the finance department to maximize profitability and customer experience
Collaborate with service and marketing teams to support dealership growth
Analyze sales metrics, forecast performance, and report results to ownership
Maintain a professional, accountable, and customer focused sales culture
Previous General Sales Manager or senior sales leadership experience in an automotive dealership required
Strong track record of driving sales volume, gross profit, and team performance
Deep understanding of dealership operations, inventory management, and retail strategy
Proven ability to lead leaders and build accountable teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision making skills
High school diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Salesperson License
Comfortable operating in a fast paced, performance driven environment
Strong computer skills and experience with CRM and dealership systems
