Head of Electrical Fabrication

Position Purpose

Lead the local electrical manufacturing function and oversee all electrical manufacturing operations on a day-to-day basis to ensure; a safe team and working environment that meets the quality and project targets set out by the needs of our clients. Provide management oversight to additional sites as needed and be the decision maker for all electrical manufacturing standards. Responsible for building, developing and coaching the team to have an enthusiastic, collaborative, motivated, and flexible approach to servicing projects and cross functional initiatives.

• Ensures workplans and schedules are reviewed, and manufacturing tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Support revenue growth through taking an adaptable approach to taking on projects
• Manage team workload and communicate schedule progress to projects & planning
• Supports the team to execute projects inline with production estimates / budgets
• Ensures the right technical skillsets are deployed on projects
• Foster a proactive approach to safety & ensure compliance
• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives, which deliver best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
• Decide, Support and maintain best practices (process, experience, systems) related to electrical manufacturing
• Ensures plant and equipment are maintained
• Manage manufacturing costs to budget (but not as a constraint)

The electrical manufacturing team in Lititz will report to this role as well as the manager of the electrical manufacturing team in Orlando.

• Coaching direct reports to support and influence capabilities based on what the schedule is showing

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in electrical manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma
