The Packaging Material Handler packages and crates company product to ensure accurate and undamaged delivery to customers.

• Ensures products meet specification, ability to read and comprehend work/process instructions, data sheets, photos, prints, diagrams, and standard measurements with high attention to detail.
• Selects proper packaging materials, cuts, and applies material in appropriate dimensions.
• Seals packaging utilizing the correct material and heat sealing equipment.
• Understand general operating methods or procedures concerning cleaning, priming, paint touch‑up and re‑painting, as well as, serves as final manufacturing quality check before shipping.
• Understand a step‑by‑step method to install hardware, safety wire and Safe‑T‑Cables.
• Utilize correct torqueing tools and apply the correct torque technique during assembly.
• Obtain and maintain J‑Standard certifications.
• Continuously communicates status of product to group leader or packaging supervisor.
• Utilizes computer to navigate work instructions and company integrated software systems.
• Uses various hand tools and equipment to complete packaging responsibilities.
• Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Follows Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• May occasionally operate industrial forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and product.
• Works flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
• Obtain and maintain Hazardous Material & Dangerous Goods Certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions.

• Production Environment:
  Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Hours 6:00 - 3:30, Monday through Thursday;
  Friday 6:00-2:30; occasional additional hours as needed.
• 9/80 work schedule.
• Office located in Lititz, PA.
