Front of House Team Member

As a Cashier/Barista, you will play a dual role in our establishment. You will be responsible for managing transactions at the cash register and preparing a variety of beverages. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
  • Answer questions about menu items, recommend products, and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Barista Duties:
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation techniques and stay updated on new products and offerings.
  • Ensure that all beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Cashier Duties:
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity.
  • Directing customers to the correct location based on the nature of their visit.
• Operational Tasks:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the cashier counter, beverage preparation area, and customer seating.
  • Stock supplies and ingredients as needed, and notify management of low inventory levels.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

• Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• A passion for coffee and beverages, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and products.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
