Wage: $19.00 an hour

This is a part-time position at our Lititz Pike Fresh Foods, requiring open availability from 6am to 4pm, including flexible weekends.

• Assist with the development and implementation of new product ideas.
• Decorate specialty cakes and work with seasonal cake events.
• Maintain knowledge of current inventories and ordering systems to assist with supply orders.
• Mix cakes, icing, and other items as needed.
• Produce correct quantities of products according to weekly sales projections.
• Record best-selling cakes and notify management.
• Ensure proper production of bakery goods, especially in the absence of bakers, department assistants, or management.
• Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, keeping products and supplies organized.
• Operate price scale with knowledge of current prices; update price tags as needed.
• Receive, open, and unpack merchandise, checking invoices against items received.
• Clear floor of restocking equipment and debris promptly.
• Set up and sign displays to attract customers and promote sales.
• Take and process customer orders accurately and ensure products are ready on time.
• Regularly take inventory to identify items needing reordering or replenishment.

• Employees are regularly exposed to hot temperatures while working around kitchen equipment.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
