You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via the myTime mobile scheduling app) that fit your schedule.

When you pick up a shift, reliable attendance is necessary. You must engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum four hours). If you do not respond to our contact attempts or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. You may be required to attend a Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule.

After that, use the myTime app to pick shifts you desire.

• Deliver the guest service experience by adhering to service standards
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks
• Assist guests to solve their needs and answer questions
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available
• Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and how to enroll
• Understand and explain Wallet and Target App features
• Handle returns and follow register prompts, escalating as needed
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest experience per policies
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up, and returns; comply with laws and policies
• Support cash office processes as needed
• Other duties as needed
