Ramp Security Agent

The Lancaster Airport Authority is hiring part-time Airport Ramp Security Agent. The Ramp Security Agent is responsible for maintaining a secure and controlled ramp environment during day-to-day airport operations. The airport ramp security agent monitors access to the aicraft ramp and SIDA areas, verifies employee identification and credentials, screens vehicles and equipment entering secure areas, and reports security concerns to the appropriate personnel.

The Ramp Security Agent serves solely in a security and access-control capacity and is not responsible for assisting with airline ground operations. Agent’s only responsibility is to observe, monitor, verify, control access, and report any security issues as required.

Agent must be able to remain alert at all times and be able to work in all weather conditions as it is an essential position. Agent is stationed outdoor for the majority of the shift and must be able to handle varying noise levels due to aircraft and equipment movement. This position is hourly with a starting salary of $18.00 per hour with shifts being scheduled at eight (8) per shift.
