Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven CSR to join our team. Our ideal candidate plays a crucial role in expanding our client base by initiating meaningful conversations with current and potential partners and clients, assisting with the application process, building relationships with processing partners, assisting with client follow-ups, being the go-to person for sales reps and banking relationship partners, organizing trade show efforts, and acting as the glue for the team while serving as a resource for current clients as needed.
The primary focus will be on providing an excellent customer service experience.
- Application Manager: Work with Sales Reps and be a liaison between the underwriting and deployment processing teams to ensure applications are being approved.
- Customer Service: Work with current and future customers and ISRs to answer questions, problem-solve, manage the partner portals, assist with completing new applications, account changes, and work with the underwriting department to deploy and train new accounts.
- Articulate Value Proposition: Communicate the value and build relationships on behalf of Evolve Payment, emphasizing the benefits of our payment processing solutions.
- Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with bookkeepers, CPAs, CFOs, bankers, and clients while understanding their needs and challenges to position Evolve Payment as a valuable partner.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for the Sales Team to further discuss partnership opportunities and provide detailed information about our offerings.
- Dashboard Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with merchants in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Manage helpdesk tickets and ensure partners are responding promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with overall business objectives. Include joint virtual calls, creating proposals, training seminars, and general follow-up work.
- Client Retention: Work closely with Evolve Payments’ current team members and vendors to ensure applications are processing smoothly, training is scheduled and completed, client conversations and their needs are responded to promptly with accurate information.
- General Office Management: Assist with routine office management tasks such as ordering office supplies, sorting mail, sending out thank‑you gifts, and general clean‑up as needed.
- Proven experience with inbound and outbound sales, business development, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and client presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and concisely.
- Self‑starter, goal‑oriented with a strong focus on customer service.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment; we deal with clients who expect and need quick turn‑arounds on email and phone call responses.
- Familiarity with payment processing or financial services is a plus.
- Keen understanding of financial literacy, spreadsheets, financial acumen, and pricing analyzers.
- Very detail‑oriented; we work with clients’ confidential information and often they rely on our team for quick action.
- Patience and kindness; our clients may not understand our industry, we need to build trust and value every interaction.
- Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills.
- Can quickly learn new software, programs, and technology changes.
