Schedule: Full-time
· Monday-Friday
· 8:30am - 5:00pm
Tri-State Bobcat is looking for a reliable, experienced diesel mechanic who takes pride in doing quality work the right way. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, safety-minded technician who works well independently and wants long-term stability, strong support, and opportunities to grow with new equipment and technology.

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of compact construction and heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure top-notch performance
- Order parts and maintain inventory as needed for repairs
- Communicate job progress with the service manager and ensure customer satisfaction
- Inspect and test equipment after repairs are completed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of work orders, parts, and labor
- Uphold safety standards and keep your work area organized and efficient
- Participate in company-paid training to stay current with new equipment and technology updates (including limited out-of-state training)
- Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service
- Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting
- Experience operating Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
- Strong computer skills for diagnostics and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills and a commitment to completing jobs on schedule
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and perform other physical tasks in various work environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
