Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

• Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment, including coffee roasting, conveyors, forklifts, and high‑speed packaging line equipment.
• Assist in scheduling and conduct routine preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Communicate with PLCs, robots, and other processors.
• Participate in new line start‑ups, new product or packaging testing processes, and installations.
• Partner with production line operators to meet production schedules, troubleshoot, and identify root‑cause issues and corrective actions.
• Teach operators basic preventive maintenance procedures and adjustments to settings to improve efficiency.
• Assist production line team during equipment tear‑down, sanitation, and reassembly to minimize downtime.
• Identify process improvements resulting in cost savings, efficiency, and quality or safety improvements.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
• Maintain safe work conditions and facility maintenance.
• Maintain documentation and record keeping, including data entry in computer system.
• Manage spare part inventory and notify when parts are needed.
• Provide on‑call support as required.

• Associate degree in a related field is highly; high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Food processing or packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards strongly preferred.
• Maintenance technician or mechanic experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Electrical, automation and controls maintenance and PLC experience preferred.
  
  Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and an ERP system.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of a post‑offer drug screen and background check.
• Self‑directed, personally motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Team player, able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Excellent attendance and performance track record.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.

Full‑time position working 5:45 am to 6:00 pm on a 2‑2‑3 schedule at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility. Competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package.

Frequent sitting, use of hands to type data, use of a personal computer and telephone. May occasionally operate business machines and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
