Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time/Part-Time 2nd Shift

North Shore Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full‑time or part‑time 2nd shift positions at our skilled nursing and assisted living centers throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Dakota.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the assigned Nurse Supervisor, this position performs resident/patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned. The CNA also assists in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while following all Center policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform resident/patient care activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, ambulation and medication assistance
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ health status to nursing staff
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow Center policies and procedures and maintain a positive attitude toward patients, families and staff
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
  • Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers and staff
  • Positive attitude toward working with long‑term care residents and the elderly
  • Meets all health requirements as required by law
