Responsibilities- Provide nursing care through coordination, implementation and evaluation of the resident’s or patient’s plan of care.
- Adhere to the standards of care for the area and maintain a safe environment for residents and patients.
- Supervise nursing assistants in the performance of resident or patient care activities.
- Follow all center policies and procedures and perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Licensed in the state as an LPN.
- Current CPR certification.
- Competence in using necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
- Ability to calculate drug dosage.
- Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
- Positive, effective, and appropriate interpersonal skills with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company applications.
