Job Overview

As an LPN you will work under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) to provide direct patient/resident care, coordinate and evaluate care plans, supervise nursing assistants, and maintain a safe and quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily nursing care for assigned residents/patients, including medication administration, feeding, oxygen therapy, and use of medical equipment.
  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate residents’ care plans in collaboration with the RN team.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and ensure tasks are performed safely and to standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the living environment for resident/patient safety.
  • Follow all center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Education & Experience
  • Licensed in the state as an LPN.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with nursing supplies and equipment (e.g., feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart).
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages accurately.
  • Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
  • Strong communication skills; able to interact positively with residents, families, staff, and community members.
  • Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications.
