Event Manager / Planner, Customer Service Rep
Must be able to work a varied schedule to include daytime and evening hours as well as weekends to include rotating Sundays.
This is a part-time position and is ineligible for benefits.
JOB SUMMARYUnder direct supervision of the Recreation Manager or designee, provides outstanding customer service at the areas of assignment. Monitors activities of participants, enforces policies and procedures, handles registrations, and maintains clean and safe environment. Areas of assignment may include Recreation Center Front Desk/Kidzone, Fitness Area, Senior Center, and Athletics.
The Recreation Leader must be highly motivated and strive for success by demonstrating Little Elm’s Core Values of Integrity, Customer Service, Efficiency, and Innovation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMust be at least 16 years old and have six (6) months customer service or public contact experience;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to operate various machines and/or equipment; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and be able to push and pull up to seventy‑five (75) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Primarily office environment. Some outdoor environment with potential exposure to adverse weather conditions.
