Abdominal Transplant PCU Registered Nurse – Medical City Dallas

Schedule:

Full‑time Nights (7 PM–7 AM). Eligible for a $7,500 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the solid organ transplant progressive care unit. You will collaborate with the care team, advocate for patients, and follow nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and documentation as ordered by medical providers.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and act on unintended reactions.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑up care.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – to be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree; BSN required with 12‑month enrollment and completion within 24 months of hire.
• Minimum one year experience as an RN in a high‑acuity PCU or critical‑care unit.
