RN - Super Pool Women Services at MEDICAL CITY DALLAS

Is accountable for consistent, safe, high‑quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post‑delivery. Familiar with vaginal and C‑section births, fetal monitoring, and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia. Will demonstrate expertise in providing care for patients during PACU period as well as newborn care within the first two hours of life.

• Provide consistent, safe, high‑quality care to laboring patients from admission through post‑delivery.
• Care for patients undergoing vaginal and C‑section births, including fetal monitoring and anesthesia support.
• Deliver care in the post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU) and provide newborn care within the first two hours of life.

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas – compact or multi‑state license accepted.
• Associate Degree required; BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position.
• Minimum of three (3) years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment (L&D, Mother‑Baby, Antepartum).
• Minimum of 3 years experience caring for women of childbearing age and infants up to four (4) years.
• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year, Neonate Resuscitate within 90 days of employment start date.
• Participates in an on‑call schedule.
