Telemetry Registered Nurse – Nights (7PM‑7AM)

Medical City Dallas is inviting applications for a Telemetry Registered Nurse. This full‑time night shift position requires a registered nurse under the Medical City Dallas system.

Full‑time, Nights (7PM – 7AM).

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care, collaborate with the care team, and follow nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You are an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, and ensure thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• Associate degree required; BSN required with 12‑month enrollment and 24‑month commitment (Magnet Hospital).
