Purpose of the Role

A Restaurant cashier has the greatest perceived responsibility – direct guest contact. The cashier is responsible for greeting every guest within 3-5 seconds, answering the phone, taking accurate orders, and delivering completed orders with a great attitude and a smile. Every Team Member is responsible for representing the culture and mission of Wingstop to Serve the World Flavor!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Must have an outgoing and positive attitude. Greet all guests promptly. Ensure each guest leaves with a positive impression. Handle orders and inquiries professionally. Provide quick, friendly service. Notify the Manager of guest issues and resolve low-level complaints efficiently.
• Team Oriented: Support team members, work well under pressure, and assist in all positions when necessary. Report safety, sanitation, or employee issues immediately.
• Process Compliance: Follow safe handling procedures, stay updated on product and procedural changes, open/close the restaurant as assigned, manage cash and sales accurately, promote add-on sales, verify guest age requirements for alcohol, and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• High School diploma preferred
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
