Job DescriptionThe Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery. The role maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior: empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops and work areas.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose unwanted vehicle parts, and store tools and equipment in their proper location.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly manner, shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre‑wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
- Clean exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sub‑let locations for repairs.
- High School diploma / GED preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Clear close vision required.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Pulling/pushing, carrying.
- Walking 5+ minutes.
- Sitting and standing for 5+ minutes.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work near moving mechanical parts.
