SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR

OPPORTUNITY

Under the direction of the Screen print Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for processing screen print orders through preparing garments, applying inks through use of screen print press, and making quality adjustments as necessary. This position will lead the Unloader and provide first steps in quality control. The operator is responsible for changing screens and setting up/cleaning ink for specific orders, and operating the screen print press to produce the best t‑shirts in the biz.

The operator will help verify garment quality and ink design to achieve company standards, and will wow our customers by meeting department and company goals.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, 8a‑4p

Typical Day (job functions) | Unload + Operate + Analyze + Verify + Repeat

• Access order specifications through computer programs
• Maintain Lakeshirts' acceptable standard of quality per garment
• Keep work area clean
• Organize workflow
• Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
• Teamwork
• Other duties as assigned

SCREEN PRINT

• Unload shirts from platen
• Analyze orders to identify design and determine ink colors
• Verify quality of clothing and ink design or thread/fabric color
• Change screens and ink for specific orders

Operator Skills (qualifications) | Self‑Motivated + Detail‑Oriented + TEAM Player

• High school education, desirable.
• Positive attitude & self‑motivated
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Detail oriented and self motivated
• Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Previous production preferred, but not required.
• Tablet, computer, Microsoft Word, Doc and Excel experience preferred.
