Sanitation A – Barrett Petfood

This onsite role allows you to be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety while working within a dynamic and fun team atmosphere.

• Take out garbage and empty pallets.
• Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment.
• Work with a team to ensure the facility is clean.
• Assist operators during startups and shutdowns with removal of waste barrels and cleaning around equipment.
• Operate forklift and floor scrubber to assist in cleanup of production floor.
• Unload bags, boxes, and totes.
• Perform additional cleaning/janitorial tasks as needed.

Strong attention to detail is essential, as it ensures thorough cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and work areas, directly impacting product safety and quality.

Good problem‑solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude are crucial.

Physical stamina is necessary, as the role involves standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
