Processing Laborer B – Raw Ingredient Associate

We are Barrett Petfood, a leading pet food manufacturer. Join our team as a Full‑Time Raw Ingredient Associate to apply your problem‑solving skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Work onsite with a dedicated team while contributing to a customer‑centric mission.

Competitive pay: $19.50 to $21.50 per hour

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Chip frozen meat blocks apart
• Run meat blocks through processing equipment
• Mix ingredients together
• Add oils as needed per customer specifications
• Clean Meat Room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
• Use forklift to unload shipments into freezer and stage product for processing when needed

Qualifications:

We look for a candidate with strong attention to detail and organization, observant inspection skills, effective communication, proactive problem‑solving attitude, commitment to safety practices and willingness to learn industry regulations. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential.
