Shift Manager (McDonald's) – The Gillis Organization owns and operates McDonald’s Restaurant franchises in Bergen, Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean County in New Jersey. Our focus is to enhance the customer experience by providing excellent service with golden‑standard quality products while making our patrons and employees feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
The salary range for this role is $17.00 to $21.00 an hour starting salary, depending on experience and the volume of locations. Monthly bonus opportunities are based on the performance matrix. In addition to base pay, the Gillis Organization offers a program called Accelerate Your Pay (AYP) which rewards hourly employees who work for the needs of the business and want to grow their pay.

Fast Track Management Program is available based on experience. Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a quick, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure excellent customer quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for a great shift.
Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned departments meet their goals.
