Job Overview
We’re looking for ambitious, adaptable, and travel‑ready superintendents who want more than a job—they want a career adventure.
In this role you’ll execute retail and commercial renovation projects, managing day‑to‑day operations from mobilization to completion. You’ll travel 10–12 weeks at a time in different cities and lead on‑site crews to deliver high‑quality results on schedule.

- Study the project manual, job specifications and construction drawings to ensure timely completion, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance.
- Understand scope, evaluate, and recommend industry‑standard methods and schedules to minimize cost and time.
- Manage and collaborate with crews on concrete, asphalt, steel, cabinetry, flooring, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and other tasks in a live retail environment.
- Be present on the job site as defined by program expectations.
- Ensure blueprints and plans are followed precisely, evaluating risks that may impact delivery.
- Provide daily status reporting with photos through project‑management applications.
- Coordinate and facilitate the RFI process.
- Interface with local permitting authorities to ensure compliance and coordinate inspections and permit closeout.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Travel a minimum of 14 weeks at a time across the U.S. or as directed, including air travel.
- Work nights and weekends as required.
- Confirm final handoff, ensuring all tasks are complete and correct.
- Perform hands‑on work 20% of the time (e.g., installing a paper towel holder or hardware).
- Plan and organize tasks for project field staff and subcontractors.
- Maintain project schedule and minimize delays.
- Examine work for exactness and accuracy.
- Ensure safety protocols are always followed.
- Organize and participate in weekly toolbox talks.
- Hungry to learn and lead in the construction industry.
- Comfortable traveling and adapting to new environments.
- Motivated by big challenges.
- Three years of experience in a supervisory role and five years’ experience in a relevant trade.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting. Experience with Pro Core, Plan Grid, Autodesk Build is a plus.
- Must pass an MVR, background, and drug test.
