* Minimum of one year of postdoctoral experience;
* Experience teaching and developing courses in comparative and experimental physiology, developmental physiology, or evolutionary developmental biology;
* Evidence of a strong commitment to student-centered instruction and evidence-based teaching methods;
* Evidence of a commitment to science education outreach and/or community engagement;
* Knowledge of different methods of student learning and assessment;
* A track record of research productivity.
* Teaching duties include the department's core courses and upper-level courses in the candidate's specialty;
* Establish and maintain a research program that incorporates undergraduates and graduate students with external funding;
* Provide service to the Biology Department, the Donaghey College of STEM, and the University.
* Excellent communication skills;
* Commitment to inclusive teaching;
* Ability to provide effective mentorship;
* Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate in a departmental team from a variety of research backgrounds.
