Job DescriptionWe are seeking passionate, mission‑driven Kindergarten Teachers to join our founding Arkansas team for the 2026–27 school year. As a founding teacher, you will shape a joyful, rigorous, and nurturing elementary experience for our scholars and build long‑term family and community relationships from day one.
Position Responsibilities- Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence. Serve on staff meetings and required committees. Staff work hours range from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30–4:30 p.m.
- Effectively instruct students in assigned content areas using direct instruction, audio‑visual aids, and other materials to engage learning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and align curricula following state and school guidelines.
- Set clear short‑term and long‑term goals to drive instruction.
- Develop and submit weekly and long‑range lesson plans containing standards, objectives, essential questions, assessments, and lesson plans; assign lessons and review homework.
- Consistently use data to evaluate pupil progress, record results, and issue meaningful reports to inform parents of progress.
- Create and implement student intervention plans when necessary.
- Maintain the school's student management policies and procedures (e.g., attendance records, dress code) and report to administrators when necessary.
- Maintain effective classroom supervision and discipline.
- Work with other teachers and administrators to address and resolve student needs.
- Provide necessary accommodations and modifications for the growth and success of all students.
- Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
- Lead and participate in student activities such as sponsoring student organizations, coaching sports teams, working with parents and the community, providing supervision, and chaperoning activities.
- Abide by all state and federal mandates in reporting sexual or physical abuse and neglect.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Should have or be eligible for an Arkansas Teacher’s license for Elementary Education K‑6 or ECE P‑4.
- If not yet certified, must have experience working with elementary‑aged children and a solid tutoring or literacy foundation.

- Ability to meet deadlines related to lesson plan submission, grades, and other requirements.

- Ability and willingness to construct hands‑on education materials for the identified curriculum skills and concepts.
Physical Requirements , and Working Conditions
The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs, operate foot and hand controls, use a telephone, and write. Occasionally the employee must lift or move 20 pounds or more. The position requires accurate perception of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, and handling educational materials. The employee must be physically present during the contracted time period with infrequent unexcused absences.

Salary begins at $50,000 for fully licensed teachers, with placement determined by experience and salary guidelines. FLSA: EXEMPT.
