Summary of

Job Duties

As the Director of Clinical Education and Training, you will lead with vision and purpose, driving the educational outcomes, fiscal management, and personnel development of the Clinical Informatics division and key clinical digital applications within UAMSHealth. This dynamic role calls for a blend of expertise in assessing educational needs, delivering impactful training for healthcare professionals, and navigating the intricacies of information technology to craft efficient, workflow‑focused educational programs.

You will collaborate closely with clinical and IT stakeholders, shaping curricula that align with organizational goals while directly supervising a team of licensed and unlicensed educators in the Clinical Computer Education department. Your leadership will extend across the organization, influencing educational excellence for stakeholders such as All Clinical areas, the Center for Nursing Excellence, Revenue Cycle, and Access staff. From managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to making strategic decisions on hiring, resource allocation, and process improvement, this position is at the heart of advancing UAMS' mission.

You will also oversee budget planning, interact with leadership and external partners, and champion a culture of continuous learning and exceptional customer service. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Education, Health‑related, Analytical fields or similar, plus five (5) years of experience in instructional design, educational outcomes assessment, or education technology and/or Learning Management System administrator experience
