- Lead the development and improvement of educational programs and learning management systems
- Oversee the effectiveness of traditional and computer-based learning programs to ensure alignment with quality metrics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design training that meets regulatory and best practice standards
- Manage fiscal responsibilities, including budget planning and resource allocation
- Supervise certified Epic educators and specialized staff, fostering professional growth and accountability
- Master's Degree in Education, Health-related, Analytical fields, or similar
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in instructional design, educational outcomes assessment, or education technology
- Proficient in education outcome assessment, evidence-based instructional design, and adult learning theory
- Strong communication skills and proven leadership abilities
- Understanding of IT components relevant to clinical education
- Experience as an educator in an academic medical center or academic setting
- Demonstrated leadership in assessing educational outcomes and utilizing technology for improved learning efficiency
- Certification in Epic Electronic Health Record application(s), including TED
- Leadership experience with Epic Principal Trainers (UAMS Health Computer Application Training Specialists)
