We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge Project Engineer to support our West Gulf Region located in Little Rock, AR. To be considered, applicants must have at least a Professional Engineering Licensure and 5 years of bridge design experience.

• Perform or supervise calculations and analysis for designing bridge and transportation structures using various bridge design software programs.
• Perform or supervise load ratings on bridges of various types, sizes, and complexities.
• Review calculations and design details developed by others.
• Attend meetings with clients and other professionals and organizations.
• Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraints.
• Review construction related submittals.
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Supervise and mentor Structural EITs and interns.
• Assist with marketing bridge and structure design work.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master of Engineering preferred but not required.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.).
• 5 to 9 years of engineering experience in bridge design.
• DOT experience strongly preferred.
• Skilled in the use of Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Designer, STAAD, CSi Bridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE BrR, Mathcad.
• Technical expertise for layout & design of bridges and related highway structures.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and highway structures.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and other pertinent bridge design specifications.
• Familiarity with DOT bridge standards and design manuals.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and post offer fit for duty evaluation if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
