Join us as we strive to ensure a sustainable future for our communities and the world we live in. At GHD we are looking for a new Graduate Environmental Professional to join the CAR team at our Little Rock, AR office.
About the RoleThis hybrid position combines in‑office collaboration with flexible work, requiring field work and more than two weeks of travel at a time.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Capability Building:
Participate in assessment and development planning activities, and continuous education. - Sampling and Testing:
Collect straightforward samples and conduct testing to support regulatory compliance. - Health, Safety, and Environment:
Follow HSE policies to identify and mitigate environmental risks and promote safe work methods. - Data Collection and Analysis:
Produce accurate reports by collecting data from standard sources. - Document Preparation:
Organize and prepare complex documents using standard office software. - Community of Practice Management:
Build expertise within a defined area of practice. - Client & Customer Management (External):
Assist senior colleagues in managing client and customer relationships. - Environmental
Risk Management:
Contribute to environmental risk management aligned with regulations and sustainability goals. - Environmental Impact Assessment:
Conduct routine tasks related to environmental impact assessments. - Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation:
Gather information to assist in drafting RFP and RFT documents. - Project Management:
Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Environmental Science, Engineering or Geology.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in the field regularly.
- Ability to travel for more than two weeks at a time.
