Job Summary

The Grants Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for providing research, analysis, and administrative support to the grants team. The Grants Analyst assists in the preparation of grant proposals, reviews financial data, and ensures compliance with grant guidelines. This role is critical to ensuring that grants are managed effectively from application to post-award compliance.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching and identifying potential grant funding opportunities.
  • Support the preparation and submission of grant applications and proposals.
  • Assist in reviewing and processing financial data related to active grants, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain records of grant applications, awards, and status reports in the grants management database.
  • Prepare routine reports on grant performance, budget compliance, and timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and financial documentation for grant applications.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed in support of the grants team.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Basic understanding of grant management processes and principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to research and interpret grant guidelines and funding opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in grants management or related administrative support roles.
