Job Duties:

** The medical physicist for proton therapy will support clinical operations at the Proton Center of Arkansas while contributing to the center’s initiatives in quality and clinical improvement. Reporting directly to the Director of Proton Physics, the position is responsible for supporting physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists in all aspects of treatment planning, dose calculation, and quality assurance to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities include providing clinical physics coverage for daily proton treatments, performing commissioning, calibration, and patient-specific and routine QA for treatment planning and delivery systems, and maintaining imaging devices. The incumbent will contribute to projects involving surface imaging, dual-energy CT implementation, motion management, and the integration of new technologies and techniques for proton therapy.
