Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Rehabilitation, PRN — Lifepoint Health.

Location:

2 St Vincent Circle 6th Floor, Little Rock, AR 72205. Shift: PRN | As Needed |  | M-F and weekends.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient s responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

• Education:
  
  Associate s degree Required;
  Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
• Licenses:
  Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of KY
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS)
