What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct and assist with laboratory experiments, including in vitro metabolic reactions and chromatographic analyses (e.g., HPLC)
  • Process, analyze, and document experimental data; assist in data reporting and publication efforts
  • Perform literature reviews to support ongoing research initiatives
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, manage inventories, and order supplies as necessary
  • Train new staff or students in laboratory procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School diploma/GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a research laboratory
  • Basic knowledge of standard laboratory equipment and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Experience operating and maintaining High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems
  • Ability to move and clean laboratory equipment as needed
  • Familiarity with general biochemical and analytical laboratory practices
