- Analyze insurance information in EPIC to determine patient payment responsibilities
- Create and verify patient estimates, ensuring accurate communication via text/email
- Transfer patient charts to Pre-Registration for insurance verification prior to appointments
- Handle customer service inquiries related to the estimate process and patient billing
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent with 1 year of healthcare revenue cycle experience, or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in data entry, charge entry, and medical office or hospital billing
- Ability to sit continuously and work on a computer for an 8-hour day
- Coding certification
