• Complete cash posting, cash control, credit, and data entry/scanning tasks
• Interpret explanations of benefits (EOBs) and manage patient account adjustments
• Research and resolve credit balance accounts, including processing refunds
• Maintain accurate records of payments and adjustments in the patient accounting system
• Collaborate effectively within a team to support workflow and improve efficiency

• High School diploma/GED plus 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle-related function, or a Bachelor's Degree, or a combination of education and experience totaling 4 years
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Above-average communication skills
• Ability to interpret insurance documentation and payment adjustments
• Experience with patient account management systems

• Previous experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or billing environment
• Familiarity with current billing practices and regulations
• Strong analytical skills for researching and resolving payment issues
• Experience working with insurance carriers and financial transactions
• Ability to adapt to training provided by insurance carriers
