Overview
The CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties include operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position includes call and holidays.
Responsibilities- Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data
- Handling patients
- Venipuncture
- Use of EPIC
- Call and holiday coverage
- Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other hospital services in a professional manner
- Maintain professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED PLUS graduate of an approved Radiology program
- New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience
- Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date
- CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire
- Ability to follow oral instruction, read and write

Job Duties:
The CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.
Pre-employment screening requirements include annual TB screening, Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse Testing. A criminal history will be evaluated in relation to job responsibilities and business necessity. This position is subject to pre-employment screening.
