* Graduate from an approved Radiology program or candidate for graduation within 6 months.
* Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology;
Registered or eligible to become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Mammography.
* Must obtain an AR commercial driver’s license within one (1) year of hire.

Minimum Knowledge - Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
* Operates specialized radiologic equipment to perform high quality breast imaging exams including mammography and breast ultrasounds.
* Maintains adequate level of supplies and keeps workspace clean.
* Communicates mammography exam procedures to patients and enlists patient cooperation in positioning for radiological examination.
* Provides patient education regarding mammography and breast health.
* Assists with records management and scheduling appointments. Obtains patient history and enters into Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
* Schedules exams and reviews pervious records to determine correct studies are performed.  Ensures exams are completed and images are in Picture Archiving and Communication (PACS) systems.
* Enrolls patients in Breast Care Program as appropriate.
* Drives mobile mammography van to events; sets up equipment and van.
* Maintains knowledge of breast procedures including ultrasound biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, MRI guided biopsy, and needle localizations through continuing education and professional development.
* Completes other duties as requested.
* Interacts with and assists the public in a professional and friendly manner as needed.
* Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information; maintains strict confidentiality when necessary.
* May perform other duties as assigned.
